A Homeless Vet Needs Our Help
We are raising funds for a homeless Veteran that is in need of stable housing to be able to receive a much needed double hip replacement surgery. The housing MUST be shown to be stable before the 2 separate surgeries can be performed to allow for proper healing and physical recovery to return to the work force. My life has been greatly impacted by both Breast Cancer & Domestic Violence. As for the latter, I know how hard it is to climb out of that trench. And it's a daily struggle once your out as well. It's harder than most may think to not allow yourself to dig yet another trench in which to hide. Eye contact with those around you can be devastating. The thought of strangers being able to see how empty you are inside. Debilitating actually. I now try to empower those impacted by Domestic Violence.
