                       Do You Like Road Trips? 

         My thoughts of taking a road trip is of how very freeing it is to be able to tune out the everyday hustle we have created for ourselves. We become so routinely active into our day to day that we forget to really look around and see the rest of the world. Although "our" world revolves around us and our families, we often tune out the people, sounds and little miracles that we pass by each and every day. 
       I have decided to take time off from "my world" for a few days. I will be going on a road trip with a friend to relax, breathe in the ocean air and sit in the sand somewhere. Being that we both have responsibilities, just like most, our trip was planned 2 weeks in advance. Not as spontaneous as one would hope, but a nice get away, none the less. 
      We do not need to pack much , which will makes this adventure even more enjoyable. No heavy suitcases to lug around. Just a large tote bag with 2 bathing suits ( one to wear while the other is drying ), cover ups, maybe a comfy dress or two, pair of shorts, comfy top ( all to easily wear over the suits ), beach towel, and of course, lots of sunscreen.

My life has been greatly impacted by both Breast Cancer & Domestic Violence. As for the latter, I know how hard it is to climb out of that trench. And it's a daily struggle once your out as well.
