As I sit here I still have so many thoughts racing  in different directions. I'm sure you know what I am saying, we have all been here. Over the last few days I have been attending an orientation with my family on what to expect, as a whole, from the University my child has chosen to attend. We also discussed how to properly process a parent's transition of releasing their child into the world without an attached helicopter to hover over them.  So while we, as parents, get acquainted with that notion I came up with a list of what is needed to lessen our want to hover.
