College Bound
Over the last few days I have been attending an orientation with my family on what to expect, as a whole, from the University my child has chosen to attend. We also discussed how to properly process a parent's transition of releasing their child into the world without an attached helicopter to hover over them. So while we, as parents, get acquainted with that notion I came up with a list of what is needed to lessen our want to hover. What I put on this list are the basic essentials for good hygiene. This may sound a bit wierd but I know I will worry less by knowing that a care package containing the basics will be waiting.
